• Power down function: the AD9833 has a power down function (LEEP). This allows sections of the device that are not in use to be shut down, minimising the power consumption of the part, e.g. B. the DAC can be switched off when a clock output is generated.
• Output frequency and phase are programmable via software: The output frequency and phase are programmable by software, which allows easy tuning. No external components are required.
• Power supply: The device works with a power supply of 2.3 V to 5.5 V.
• 0.1 Hz: The frequency registers are 28 bit; with a clock rate of 25 MHz, a resolution of 0.1 Hz can be achieved. Analogously, the AD9833 can be set to a resolution of 0.004 Hz with a clock speed of 1 MHz.
• Compatible with microcontroller standards: The AD9833 is described via a 3-wire interface. This serial interface operates at clock speeds of up to 40 MHz and is compatible with microcontroller standards.
